Judge rules GM can be sued for punitive damages over ignitions

In a case that may have an impact on Arkansas motorists, a federal bankruptcy judge ruled on Nov. 9 that people suing General Motors over recalled ignition switches can seek punitive damages. The decision could potentially cost the automaker millions of dollars.

Underage drinking and NHTSA public service campaign

Arkansas residents may agree with the administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, who notes that even one teen death because of intoxicated driving is too much. The NHTSA has conducted impressive public service campaigns in past years as it worked to reduce the number of DUI accidents and fatalities.
